Like every site it only support small creators when it benefit them and then they stop and block access to their product.

Just like YouTube when a creator needs 4000 watch and 1000 subs.

Medium has followed in big tech foot steps and now telling creators they need 100 followers.

Blocking access to growing creators, medium will end up losing users and like other big tech without small creators making content.

Their will be limited content made so in a few years medium will face the same problems like YouTube has when they can’t produce new content creators fast enough.

You can find more Medium-like sites with this list and an easy Google search.

Medium don’t understand many will purchase fake subs from places like fiverr.

Giving medium a bot problem, I would say medium will be getting rid at least half of their creators by doing this move and if creators are growing their fanbase they should not change it.
